Recap of last week Sermon:  

During the last sermon, we talked about “walking in the light” to get to know the hard secrete behind sustaining or being in the light, because many individual, believers or unbelievers who may seems carrying the light at a point in their life have lost it due to negligence and carefree altitude to which the devil is fully using even as a tool against them since he [devil] is fully aware that when the light is out, the ability for spiritual exploit will be lowered considerably except God just show mercy [John 8: 12]. 

Being a church goer does not finally guarantee the light but to work on your inner self [spirit and mind] as a temple of God through thorough self discipline, submission and determination by the word of God [Romans 12: 2, Ephesians 4: 22-24, John 1: 14], because there are a whole of individual in the church who are there for pretence or companionship and whom are either deadly wolf in disguise or just an empty gong. Preamble:

This week, we shall be looking at a topic “Heavenly Judgment” to consciously awaken our understanding of the relationship in our earthly nature and judgment to after life because the life you live now will be a mirror to your after life experience. Do not be deceived, for God is not mock and whatsoever a man soweth, that he shall also reap whether in this present life, or after, or the one to come [Galatians 6: 7]. 

One thing to note about judgment is that there must be a satisfactory and acceptable or unacceptable circumstances surrounding such premises for such judgment to hold its ground and one of the greatest acceptable channels which forms the bases for which God execute His judgment is His wrath which likewise comes with great recompense of reward [Hebrew 10: 35-37]. Please sit back and enjoy this lecture that will change your life forever.  

Introduction: 

Heavenly judgment which meant to be an afterlife phenomenal is a circumstance for which every creature that God had created and given the power of free-will to rule their world cannot escape from and which must have its root from earthly basis or justification [Psalm 9: 8]. In other word, it must be a function of how you and your ancestor had lived their life on earth to fulfil God’s purpose or not because whatever thing you do in your present life will have a considerable connection to your children and unborn generation after you, as this open up a generational life account to which must be settled, and which is why God is visiting the iniquities of the father on the children except they submit wholeheartedly to Him [God] for restoration [Exodus 20: 5-6, Ecclesiastes 8: 11]. I pray for you that the grace you need to leave a good Godly legacy for your children and unborn generation, may you receive it in Jesus name.

God created man and endowed them [man] with a greater ability to be independent and manifest as a small god in their world by reason of the power of free-will embedded in them during creation to decide whatever they want and how they want it but He [God] is still committed to saving lost soul that are deemed for destruction and bring them back on track, only if they turn out to obey his commandments [Proverb 16: 9, 2 Chronicle 7: 14].

One thing to note about God’s judgment is that because He is a merciful father who loves justice, unbiased, and faithfulness [Matthew 23: 23], He [God] wait patiently to allow or give enough rooms to warn, caution and admonished the disobeyed, and as He continue to wait, so His wrath may gain considerable strength to unleash judgment as at when due [Colossians 3: 5-6]. The satisfactory and acceptable period of waiting for God is affected by your state of maturity or awareness or consciousness over His plan, in other word, God may prolong His period of waiting if He realises that you are still a baby being tossed forth and back, until you gain some level of maturity and consciousness. 

Maturity, as being used above may not be a function of age but the moment you get the awareness or understanding of whom you are, what you are and His [God] plan or messages towards you and mankind generally [John 15: 22]. At this point, the period and tone of God’s waiting time takes a drastic upward change and dimension which equally attract His wrath accordingly, the period of grace and mercy also diminish so fast at this level until the disobeyed makes a covenant u-turn and submit wholeheartedly to God [Joel 2: 25, Ecclesiastes 8: 11-12].

Judgment is of the lord because He is the only apex power who created the whole universe both the heaven and the earth and everything in it [Psalm 24: 1]. The devil and his entourage together with his follower will also be judge greatly because they were created by God and every other creature that has an atom of free-will in them, even angels shall be judge [1 Corinthians 6: 2-3]. 

Another thing worthy of note is that because He [God] is a faithful and unbiased father who loves justice, discipline and being principled even among his dear loving children, then therefore, the judgment is going to start from among his children and the house of God [Church] because those that have not acknowledge Him as their lord and saviour are doomed, cursed and condemned already until they have a change of status [1 Peter 4: 18, John 3: 18, Galatians 3: 10-14]. Apostle paul speaking in the book of [Galatians 6: 7] which forms the simplest form of understanding God’s judgment and which says “Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth, that he shall also reap”

Our bible text [Revelation 22: 11-13] which says “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still, and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still, and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still, and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And behold i come quickly and my reward is with ne, to give every man according to his work shall be. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last”. I pray that may you not tarry on the day of our lord’s judgment in Jesus name.

As a result of the above, there should be a great thirst for passing the heavenly judgment of God after life as describe above because failure of such attract so many deadly punishment and penalty even in your after life experience and for those you left behind which i may not be sharing in this level of article [Isaiah 13: 11, Ecclesiastes 8: 11, Psalm 11: 16]. Passing this point of judgment is not a function of your physical ability as many thinks because it is not by your power or might but by God that showeth mercy and it is by His mercy and your cooperation that you can attain this height [Zachariah 4: 6, Hebrew 4: 16, Mathew 9: 13].

Beloved, do not be deceived of yourself, that because you are living a moderate lifestyle without immorality or have fulfil all the commandments of the law to live righteously and thereby engross yourself in self-boasting by comparing yourself to others and looking down on them that you are already heaven bond and passing all heaven judgment, for it is only on God’s mercy even after you might have fulfilled all righteousness and obey all His commandments that you attain this height of passing the judgment and make heaven at last and therefore, it is only those that will be humble in their heart before God, that though they have fulfilled all righteousness but they are not perfect because of their human nature which is the flesh and humbly seek for mercy before His throne to be found worthy in His [God] site that will be granted the grace to come in and make heaven [[Zachariah 4: 6, Hebrew 4: 16, Mathew 9: 13]].

Life is a mystery, full of uncertainties and unfairness because two major forces with considerable abilities is always trying to take superiority over man and which fully lives through us in the area of the spirit and flesh [Galatians 5: 17] and also that man is incapable to have a glimpse of the deeper things which are of the spiritual and that runs the affair of the earth except on God’s grace through revelation and as a result, eighty percent of the skeletal part of your life and daily running is unseen because they are if the spiritual and it is only few once which are of the physical that are seen.

In lieu of the above, a man is not expected to boast of anything be it spiritual or holiness or making heaven but to humbly seek for mercy at the feet of the master who is our Lord Jesus Christ who had been given the whole authority both on heaven and on earth for his heavenly breakthrough [[Zachariah 4: 6, Hebrew 4: 16, Mathew 9: 13]]. I pray the lord gives you grace for more understanding on this in Jesus name.

We also remember the story of the Pharisees and the tax collector who went into the temple to pray and the Pharisees stood and pray that God i thank thee that i am not as other men are: extortioners, unjust, adulterers or even this tax collector, i fast twice in the week, i gave tithe of all that i possess. The tax collector standing afar off, is not even able to lift up his eyes unti heaven because he was ashamed that he was a sinner but beat his chest and say, God have mercy on me for i am a sinner. I tell you this man went back justified rather than the other because God desire mercy and not sacrifice [Paraphrased-Luke 18: 10-14, Matthew 9: 13] 

Judgment is of the lord and it is Him alone that can determine who to pass because He works greatly with your heart to judge you and your action and it is at this point He will know whether to show mercy or not since He is love and love being compassionate. God is speaking in the book of [1 Corinthians 13: 1-4] that if you, though can speak in tongue of men and of angel but has no love, you are like sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal. And also if you have all gift to prophesy, to perform and understand all mystery and knowledge, and though you have a faith that can move mountain and you have no love, then to Him, you are nothing but an empty vessel [Paraphrased-1 Corinthians 13: 1-4]

Conclusion:

Heavenly Judgment is real and as we have learnt above, is for all God’s creature with embedded power of free-will and we have also realise that it is your ability to humbly and passionately seek for mercy even as you have done all the will of God by obeying all His commandments that will catapult your attainment of such passing of the judgment and make heaven at last. So i urge you to always and deeply seek for mercy at the father feet as your sureness rest on this because He is a merciful father. May the lord bless you as you do in Jesus name.

Confession: 

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your lord and saviour and you are convinced that you need him to come into your life so you can also tap into the grace available through shedding of his blood, and equally partake of the effectiveness of his wrath and the blessing that comes with it, and that you are sure, you are ready to repent from all those sin of fornication, adultery, lying, sexual immorality, pride, jealousy, hatred, idolatry, selfish ambition, witchcraft, impurity and debauchery, dissensions, envy, drunkenness, orgies and the likes, then locate a quiet place, be sober and be on your knees, and make this little confession but remember to be sure of what you are doing, so that you will not be using God to play, when you respect him and give him honour, he will also honour you in the sight of men (Matthew 6: 6).

Lord Jesus, i come with total humbleness of heart to ask for forgiveness of my sins and accept you as my lord and saviour, please forgive me of all my sin (you can begin to name them if you know them) I surrender my life to you and i want you to come and take full charge over my life and i accept you as my lord and my saviour, please cleanse me with your blood that you shed on the cross and make me a new man leaving old things behind, I promise to serve you and do your will at all time and i ask for the strength to carry on. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for saving me.
