IMMORALITY-THE-BANE-OF-OUR-SOCIETY

This week, we shall be looking at the topic "Immorality, the bane of our society" to awaken our consciousness to this poisonous and gargantuan agent of destroyer which had developed over the night among men and has eaten so deeply through the world that it can only take God for you to survive on this earth without being stained or stalked by it. This is also a great tool in the hand of the devil, just like a mass destructive weapon. So beloved, guide your heart with all diligence [Proverb 4: 23].

Immorality as its being used in this context is defined as non-adherence to the rules and ethics laid down by God as regards sexual act, dress, and behaviour [2 Timothy 2: 9-10, Matthew 5: 27-28, 1 Corinthians 6: 13, 15-16, 18, Exodus 20: 26]. 

Immorality is a killer and a weapon of mass destruction to which the devil had been using to destroy souls and Godly destiny. This dangerous and poisonous demon which had eaten very deep into our society but unknown to many of the captives due to the temporary form of destructive enjoyment embedded in it is actually the cheap gateway to massive destruction to which the devil had been using as a tool to manipulate his prey and target souls.

One of the dangerous implications is that the moment an immoral act is engaged, either immoral thought or immoral dressing or improper sexual behavior, the holy spirit of God which you might need for grace in all your endeavor cannot stand that level of contamination and so, he will step aside. This is because every immoral act will equally produce a considerable effect on every person in the sight of it and thereby induce their urge for an accordingly. 

Immorality, as endemic as it is cannot be entirely diagnosed without women as the core forerunner as they are the center of attraction that carries much more glory of God embedded in them. This is why, our Lord Jesus Christ is speaking in the book of (Matthew 5: 27-28 NIV), which says, "you have heard that it was said that you shall not commit adultery, but I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart”. 

 

The intrigue behind this premise and assertion made above by our Lord Jesus Christ is that it is not only the man here that will be judged, the woman who has made herself an oracle to stumble men will also be an index in the equation that led to the judgment. What happens when a man is lustful over an immoral act, he begins to effect a considerable sensation capable of captivating his soul and when this is not properly controlled, it will lead to fornication and adultery. 

The hidden fact that needs to be known is that immorality is a two-way communication and immediately a man is lust over an immoral act, his spirit is already trying to engage with the one being lust after, and when the one being lust after is reciprocating the desire, then the two involved can properly connect easily but if the spirit of the one being lust after is not reciprocating the urge, the devil will come in to play a smart game on the man and act on the image of the one being lust after to infiltrate and contaminate him and equally drag him into the mud.

Immorality as it was defined above, started through refusal to comply with God's ethic and standard of sexual dress and behavior, that is, dressing to properly cover the most sensitive part in the body without being bogus or shaped out, and likewise, sexual behavior that is morally coordinated and the essence of this is to remove the possibility of unnecessary urge development (1 Timothy 2: 9-10).

Even when God created man and they eventually partake of the tree of knowledge of good and evil that had made them realize they were naked, the very first thing that God did for them despite his anger toward their disobedient is to cloth them and cover their nakedness [Genesis 3: 21] but today, the reverse is the case because many people are usually naked on the street that you can even tell the sizes of their underwear. Even in the church that is supposed to be the presence of GOD. This is pathetic!

It should be noted that it is not when a person actually removes his or her cloth that he or she is naked but when you can easily have a glimpse of their inner structure and can actually discern the configuration as there are so many flat and tiny dresses today that will just project the exact photocopy and the nakedness of the one wearing it. Please this is practically the devil’s plan from the pit of hell and if a believer still develops a passion or urge for this to show forth their body structure and look very beautifully flamboyant or captivating then there is a BIG question mark in his or her salvation and the one that dwells within. So be guided.

Therefore, if women are the center of attraction, this means that they are supposed to shield the good glory of God in them properly not to use it as a weapon to be causing a catastrophe in society or to bring men down. 

Satan knows this for sure, and this is why he doesn’t joke with them. He uses them as a tool to accomplish his mission in all endeavors of life, and it is only those that are very intimate with God and have the spirit of God in them that he may finds difficult to infiltrate, even when God created Adam and Eve, it was the woman that the devil had to convince, so she can equally convince her husband and of course, the man will follow suit due to love and trust, this is still happening today. Beware.

The worst arrow of immorality is being usually directed at the saint and believers who are trying to survive the hurdles of serving God by putting their bodies under subjection, especially the youth and singles that are yet to marry and if such individual has been deeply involved in sexual immorality in the past and eventually gave his or her life to Christ, he or she is bound to face this arrow more than any other.

These whole processes are usually being orchestrated by the devil at a very higher rate, in a desire to drag the individual quickly back to the world and sin against God or to agitate their hastiness in getting married so that out of rush, he will be hooked to a strange woman. Even king David in the bible, a prophet and a man who is very close to the heart of God and whom God loves so much commits adultery with Bathsheba out of sighting her nakedness during bathe [2 Samuel 11: 1-27]. 

Beloveth, do not be deceived, for God cannot dwell in a place where immorality is at its best and when God is not available then Satan can easily come in to take charge and manifest his lordship, but when Satan takes charge of your soul, the glorious godly destiny in you becomes a mirage or begins to dwindle. 

This is why it is so painful seeing ladies of nowadays, even the once claiming to be saved found in this ungodly act like flaunting part of the breast, or captivating lap or sexy figure to look very beautiful to entice men, and even painting lips, eyelid, and makeup that you cannot differentiate between them and those in the world. 

This is practically not the way of God because as you are engaging in this act, you are already sending out the wave of immoral thought into the heart of men which may be corrupt and tempting. The truth is that a person filled with the holy spirit will not escape his caution before having involved in such act. Be guided.

Please know this now, that so many believers that are single are rushing to get married and as a result get hooked to a strange woman because of the urge they are facing for a sex partner and the devil is so wise that he knows that when you are single and are trying to serve God, the best possible arrow that such a person will be fighting with is urge and desire for a partner especially when such individual has been venturing into such act in the past and so he set the weapon of immorality against them, so they can fall into his plan and desires and also offend God. 

Please be aware that the devil also gives riches to those who are following and obeying his desire (Matthew 7: 11) especially those he has kept in the ministry of executing immoral thought and act and these are peculiar to those in the social media or music and movies industry who are his loyalist because these industry are a good place to start for the devil to harness souls. Immorality has eaten deep through the world but with the help of the social media and as a result, it is rare to find any secular music or movies today without the tone of immorality either from immoral dress to immoral act which are spreading around the globe in the speed if light. 

The devil make sure he filled these category of people or industry with riches so they can greatly flourish and continue in these act and equally making them to believing that God is blessing them to the point that they have believed in their heart that any production without immoral modern dress that will captivate every individual will not sell but this is actually true and it is the devil that had enginner all these to automatically set preference for them. 

Immorality does not fires arrow at those that are swimming in it because they are already being fed by it but to saint and believers that are holding themselves back not to offend God through it. Now let me list out briefly below, some ways through which immorality develop in order of occurence, that is, causes of immorality and its product or what comes out of it:

Causes of immorality:

1. Peer pressure: 

Immorality develops more among peers, friends and colleagues trying to adjust to the style and tone of the modern world in a particular manner or dressing, so as not to be seen odd, archaic, uncivilised or un-socialize among friends or within the society. Take for instance, a society where a particular beautifully flamboyant dress is invoke and which carry some tone of an immoral act like opening of breast, or lap or showcasing a flat sexy structure will receive or generate more of immoral vibration with high volume happenings, bubbling and population. 

The truth that is hidden about this is that the spreading of such immoral dress style, or pattern of immoral lifestyle and the popularity attach to it has a spiritual background which comes from the devil as he usually gives power to orchestrate the spreading and the popularity, even the tone of the beauty found in it also comes from him because the bible made us understand that he (devil) is perfect in beauty and therefore, he controls it and use it to achieve his devilish aim or desire [Ezekiel 28: 12]. This was how an immoral dressing of all kinds, or an immoral pattern of lifestyle or sexual behavior [pornography and the rest] come to stay.

2. Addiction: 

Once the popularity, and beauty of such immoral dressing style or the pattern of immoral lifestyle as described above has been sustained, the devil will start to inject the spirit of addiction to make sure his ministry of killing godly souls through immorality has a continuity. This is how immorality becomes the bane of our society. Addiction is a deadly spell that when cast on someone, it takes God to break as it is a very severe demonic bondage. So beware.

Let me also list out the product of immorality or what comes out of it in order of occurrence:

1. Immoral thoughts: 

Once an immoral act has been engaged, the first closest result is immoral thought from those persons in sight of it and which the holy spirit cannot dwell with and so, immediately you notice anything of such coming up in your heart, you begin to spill the blood of Jesus to cleanse yourself and immediately flee from such look  as the bible admonished us to run from every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5: 22) and because this could also be an attack. 

Immoral thought is a door opener for the devil because he knows that once you are lust in it, the holy spirit will shift and he [devil] will comes in immediately. This was why our lord Jesus Christ critically warned us that he that look at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart [Matthew 5: 27-28] and the bible also made us understand that we should guide our heart in respect to what we see with all diligence because out of it flows the issue of life [Provide 4: 23]

2. Agreement: 

The second thing that should occur immediately an immoral act is engaged is that if the two spirit of the persons involve reciprocate the urge, then there will be a spiritual agreement immediately and they can easily connect and engage deeply as they like even before the two physical body finally mate together, which may then necessitates their physical mating but if the spirit of the one being lust after is not reciprocating the urge, then the devil can cheaply comes into the person that is lust in the immoral act and act as the image of the person being lust after in other to mate with him or her and equally contaminate him. This is why those usually lust in an immoral thought will always have the issue of having a dream sleeping with one person or the other, it is a demonic oppresion that is voluntarily signed to and should be prayed off. 

3. Sexual affair: 

A deep lust in immoral thought or immoral act that is being reciprocated will definitely give rise to a sexual urge and ended up producing a sexual affair either in the spiritual or physical and which you may not escape.

4. Conflict: 

A deep lust in immoral thought and immoral act will also give rise to conflict especially among couples who are believers because like I said above, immoral thought is a door opener for the devil to come in and when he finally comes in to stay, there will always be a conflict among the spouse since a two different spirit is now in place, that is, the one of God and the other of the devil, except the devil that had come in had also corrupted the godly spirit of the other spouse since he had gained entry already into the first spouse and make the two of them to be the same but if not, there will always be a conflict among them because light and darkness cannot dwell together.

5. Exchange: 

There will always be an exchange especially during the sexual affair, either in the spiritual or physical mating and this is where destiny are been tampered with and where demonic complication are being exchanged and comes to stay in a man’s life. So be guided.

6. Initiation: 

There could also be an initiation of any kind because once there is an exchange so many things can happen.

And so, i pray for the one reading this sermon that by the words of the lord in Zechariah 9: 11, which state that because of the covenant on my blood i will save your children from waterless pit, that the lord will deliver you by the covenant upon his blood being shed for you out of every pit you found yourself as a result of an immoral act in Jesus Name.

Conclusion:

Having known the danger behind immorality and how deadly the result could be, i will admonish you to live according to God standard and according to the word of the lord in our bible text duly quoted below [1 Timothy 2: 9-10, 1 Corinthians 6: 13-20] so that you will not be an instrument in the hand of the devil. May the lord be your strength in Jesus Name. Please dwell on the key bible verses quoted below.

“You have heard the commandment that says, ‘You must not commit adultery.’  But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.  So if your eye—even your good eye —causes you to lust, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell...............Matthew 5:27‭-‬29 NLT

1 Timothy 2:8‭-‬11 NLT..............

In every place of worship, I want men to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from anger and controversy. And I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes. For women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do. Women should learn quietly and submissively...........1 Timothy 2:8‭-‬11 NLT

1 Corinthians 6:15‭-‬20 NLT.............

Don’t you realize that your bodies are actually parts of Christ? Should a man take his body, which is part of Christ, and join it to a prostitute? Never! And don’t you realize that if a man joins himself to a prostitute, he becomes one body with her? For the Scriptures say, “The two are united into one.”  But the person who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him. Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body..........1 Corinthians 6:15‭-‬20 NLT
